Ta Da!

Finally, the Once Upon A Dream Corvette is complete! Including a new white convertible top and Firestone Redline Wide Oval Bias Belted tires to finish it off. There is one thing I have not yet done. Can you guess what it is from this picture? Give up? It is the individual 427 labels on the hood. I have them in hand and even made a template which was taped in place on the hood for a week, but I did not have the heart or courage to start drilling holes in the hood. Maybe next year!

Final epilogue:

First of all, I would like to THANK Jeff Follendorf for helping me with the car when I go stuck on an issue and the use of his garage. Harold Callahan and his team for putting together the fiberglass parts and paint job for all to see. And our Webmaster, Richard Blackman for capturing my story on the WEB. Finally, I would like to dedicate this last set of pictures to Cindy, my wonderful wife of 24 years. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with cancer and is now working through this long and trying process. Remember I said all it took was time and money. It also takes an understanding wife and family. THANK YOU Cindy for your patience and understanding.
