Who We Are & What We Do
The Corvette Club of Columbus Indiana founded on April 26, 1976.
The club includes Corvettes from C-1 Straight Axle through the new C-8 Generation. We also have specialty corvettes like; Big Block engines, Anniversary models, Z06’s C5’s & C7’s, plus Grand Sports.
We typically average 50 - 75 plus members annually.
Member & Spouse =1 membership.
If you are a true Corvette enthusiast and enjoy participating in club activities this club is for you!
The purpose of our club is to encourage the preservation, ownership, and operation of Corvette cars; to provide and regulate events and exhibitions for Corvette cars and their owners; to encourage safe and skillful driving on public highways.
Our club is dedicated to promoting:
- Club fellowship and the common interest of its members.
- Preserving the one truly American sports car.
- Keeping the club family oriented.
- Helping out charitable organizations.
- Serving and being respected by the community.
- Information and the history of Corvettes.
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, unless it falls on a holiday or necessary to change, then it’s the second Monday.
We meet at El Nopal restaurant, 3114 North National Rd., Columbus, IN 47201.
Actual meeting date will always be on our website - www.columbuscorvette.com, plus a reminder on our Facebook page by Brenda Schaefer, and via email to membership by Terry Robinholt. Dinner is 5:30 p.m.; Meeting is 7:00 p.m.
Club dues are $ 36.00 annually, 2yrs $65.00, 3yrs $90.00 (New members are Pro-Rated) Each member receives via email or snail mail a Monthly treasurer's report, secretary's report/meeting minutes, plus members are eligible to receive a generous discount from our club sponsor: Chevrolet of Columbus, 2825 Merchant Mile, Columbus, IN 47201, Near SR46 & I65, next to Sam's Club (MUST SHOW your club ID Card to Service Department. 812-375-2900 or www.chevyofcolumbus.com
Membership in the club is restricted to owners of Corvette cars, spouses, persons interested in Corvette cars, and the purpose of the club. Applicants must have the approval of club members by majority vote present at a regular scheduled meeting. New applicants are allowed to attend one meeting and one event prior to his or her decision to join the club.
Our Charitable donations committee pre-screens all request and communicates their findings to our club membership for voting during our routine monthly meeting’s. We also have donations set up for annual payments, along with other’s throughout the year.
